Fairview Zippers club is turned 70 years old. We are proud of what our club and members have accomplished over the years. Some of the community service projects the club has been involved in: shopping for "Angels" from the Love Network's Angel tree at Grinnell State Bank, assisting the Library in moving/sorting books, 4-H Hall of Fame display case at Zentmire Hall, REA annual breakfast at Conroy, Haunted Barn in Marengo, playground in the park, Caleb Cronbaugh Benefit, Erin Moore Benefit, Ronald McDonald House, Iowa County Food Bank, valentines for vets and nursing home, and seed sorting at the Cottage-in-the-Meadow Gardens for Amana Heritage Seed Bank.

The Marengo Rotary club was organized on April 14,1924 and charter presented on June 3, 1924. The Marengo Rotary Club currently meets at the Marengo Public Library at noon on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. Rotary is an international service club.
Activities: Sno-cone sales to fund projects such as 2 senior Iowa Valley scholarships and sponsor 2 4-H trophies.
Support: Love Network, Parents for Prom, Fireworks, Iowa Valley School fundraisers, Marengo Pool
We supply free dictionaries to Iowa Valley 4th graders each year and free sno-cones to the elementary during drug awareness week.
