PAY RANGE EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2025 IS $26.41- $33.02 PER HOUR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION. EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2026 A 3% RAISE WILL BE APPLIED TO THE WAGE PER A UNION CONTRACT. FULL TIME OFFICERS ALSO PARTICIPATE IN THE IOWA PUBLIC EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT SYSTEM (IPERS). CURRENT CERTIFIED PEACE OFFICERS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A $3,500 SIGNING BONUS. INDIVIDUAL HEALTH INSURANCE PREMIUM IS 100% COVERED BY THE CITY. FAMILY PLAN INSURANCE PREMIUMS ARE COVERED 91% BY THE CITY.
