The Marengo Police Department is located next to City Hall at 153 Main Street, Marengo Iowa 52301. The MPD patch can be seen between the office entrance and the vehicle bay.

We are committed to the preservation of peace, order, safety and the protection of life and property. The Marengo Police Department will seek to continually enhance the quality of life Marengo by holding ourselves to the highest ethical and professional standards. If an officer is unavailable to answer, the call goes to Iowa County Sheriff's Department general dispatch.
The Marengo Police Department is currently authorized for full-time officers, part-time officers, and reserve officers.
