Local "Downtown" Business Support Programs a.k.a. Local Grants
As part of the city's updated urban renewal plan, City Council developed a downtown district Local Business Support Program that offers three different types of grants intended to help create a positive, inviting, and thriving downtown district.
Funding has been allocated for:
1. Commercial Exterior Grant - supporting the restoration/rehabilitation of facades/exterior walls on commercial buildings in the downtown district.
2. Area Acquisition Assistance Grant- supporting the acquisition of properties in the eligible downtown project area.
3. Sign Grant - to encourage the installation of business signage, and any associated lighting, to help identify and promote area businesses.

- Program funding is allocated on a first-come, first -served basis for fiscal years beginning July 1 and ending June 30.
- Upon depletion of grant funding, receipt of applications will be discontinued until the following fiscal year.
- Excess funds to be carried over.

IEDA Catalyst (CAT) Building Remediation Grant Info
